Not A Podcast was an experiment in which 📝Bowdy Brown and I snuck my studio-grade podcast recording equipment into 📝The Otherroom wine bar in Venice, CA. The "drinking and recording in public" concept evolved from what's now called 📝Brianmasté; the customized meditation he sent me as a voice message to "breathe out the absence of your friend Bowdy" which is Bowdy's way of saying "let's hang out" ... and one of the infinite expressions of his magnificence.
As we setup the visually imposing microphones and their stands—connecting a nest of wires—the couple next to us asked, "Are you recording a podcast?" That's when this recording started...
