Skills Hub is the discovery and installation layer of 📝Hermes Agent — a unified interface for searching, inspecting, and installing modular, community-contributed skills, all security-scanned and built on the agentskills.io open standard.
In Hermes, skills are standalone capability units — procedural memory distinct from the agent's built-in toolsets. Hermes generates them automatically through its closed learning loop and also pulls them from the Hub, which indexes registries such as agentskills.io so a skill can be found, inspected, and installed without hand-wiring new tools.
Every hub-installed skill passes a security scanner that checks for data exfiltration, prompt injection, destructive commands, and supply-chain signals, and skills are categorized, platform-aware, and gated by trust levels — so they can be enabled or disabled globally or per messaging platform. Because the agentskills.io standard is shared, the same skills run across Hermes, Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex.
