What are we creating?

We are building the first league for creating new companies. Team captains create companies, hire employees, test the market, create an MVP, and scale under a tight timeline, earning points for their team along the way. The league is designed as a coopetition, with the collective conversation around all teams increasing the visibility, reach, and growth of the companies that are created during each season. The purpose of the league is to create a playful atmosphere in which founders and teams are supported and propelled to grow beyond their own perception of their abilities through the vehicle of competition.

How does it work?

10 founders are chosen to create teams. The teams compete in a classic points-scoring system based on the performance of new startups that they create in a sprint during a 10-week season. There are two seasons per year, with the top three companies earning equity awards in all of the other startups created during the season. Points are awarded for milestones and on overall achievements over the course of the full season.

Why now?

The world is going through major changes, opening up needs and opportunities that were previously unanticipated. We are creating a challenging, exciting atmosphere for entrepreneurial minds to tackle these issues head on. At the same time, this is about fun! Every serial entrepreneur gets the itch to try out a new idea, to test a new market, to solve that nagging thing in the back of their head. This is the giant kick in the seat of the pants to get those ideas out into the real world.
