Mythos

Javier Saralegui is a 🏷️#founder and 🏷️#executive in the digital media and streaming space, currently serving as CEO and Founder of DangerTV — a free, ad-supported FAST channel distributing danger-centric adventure and adrenaline programming to multicultural audiences across connected TV, online, and mobile. Prior to founding DangerTV in 2014, Saralegui built his career at Univision, where he founded and served as President/COO of Univision.com (2000), growing it into the largest Spanish-language website in the US, and before that as President of Galavision from 1996 to 2000, transforming it into the largest Spanish-language cable channel in the country. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Hobart College.

DangerTV has streamed over 100 million hours since 2020 and reported 80% year-over-year growth as of 2024, reaching YouTube subscribers in the millions. Saralegui has positioned the platform as a multicultural, globally sourced content destination — filling a gap in English/Spanish adrenaline entertainment in the FAST market. He is recognized as Hispanic Ad.com's Media Executive of the Year (2006) and was inducted into the NAMIC Cable Hall of Fame. He serves on the board of 📝Fuse Media (as of 2026) and has been an advisory board member at BWG Strategy.

Introduced by 📝Justin Ruiss. Javier's trajectory — from building the dominant Spanish-language digital property at Univision to founding an independent FAST channel with real growth numbers — makes him worth knowing at the intersection of multicultural media and streaming infrastructure.
