Mythos

Casey Neistat is an American filmmaker, 🏷️#youtuber, and entrepreneur whose daily-vlog format and run-and-gun cinematic style on YouTube made him one of the most-followed and most-imitated creators of the mid-2010s YouTube era.

Neistat first reached mainstream visibility through HBO's The Neistat Brothers (2010), a documentary series he produced with his brother Van Neistat, and through a series of viral short films — including the 2003 iPod's Dirty Secret short with Van, the Make It Count Nike commercial released as a personal travelogue, and a long string of high-production-value daily vlogs starting in 2015. He co-founded the messaging app Beme in 2015, sold the company to CNN in 2016 for a reported $25 million, and later launched 368, a Manhattan-based creator community space designed to bring independent video creators together in a shared workspace. He returned to YouTube full-time in 2018 and has continued to release both polished short films and weekly vlogs.
