📝Praxis Commitment to Move Participation Terms
These terms are between Bluebook Cities Inc. or its designee ("Praxis") and you, the account holder accepting them through your Praxis account. They take effect when you explicitly agree and join this campaign.
- Your commitment
You are expressing a good-faith intention to move to a future Praxis city, subject to the details becoming available and your decision to proceed. This is not a lease, a tenancy, a purchase agreement, property ownership or an obligation to relocate. Joining does not require a payment or authorize Praxis to charge you.
- Priority consideration
Priority consideration begins only once you are a full Praxis member. While you remain a full member and an eligible, active participant, you receive priority consideration for future residential opportunities offered through this program over people who are not participating. This is not a guarantee of housing or a particular property, location, price or move-in date. Opportunities remain subject to availability and separately agreed terms. These terms do not establish a ranking among CTM participants. A number or position in the digital city is not a housing allocation or priority rank.
- Membership
Praxis account holders may participate while applying or awaiting membership. Accepting these terms does not grant membership or change an admissions decision. Only full members, on any membership tier including Free, may select or customize a digital house or create or join a neighborhood. Neighborhoods are optional. Losing full membership removes your digital place and neighborhood access but does not by itself end participation under these terms.
- A future deposit
Praxis may call for a monetary deposit of $10,000 as a condition of retaining your place in the program. This program concerns homes with an average expected cost of $1,000,000, ranging from $250,000 to $50,000,000. The timing, payment process and applicable terms, including any refund conditions, are not set by this agreement and remain subject to final determination. Updates will be provided by email and in the app as details become available. Before a deposit is due, Praxis will provide those details and the requirements for retaining your place, so you can decide whether to proceed.
Any deposit request must respect the amount or exemption stated above. If you choose not to proceed or do not meet applicable notified deposit requirements, you forfeit your place in this program. This agreement does not authorize an automatic charge or create a debt for an unpaid deposit. Any future payment will require a separate payment action and will be governed by the terms provided for that payment.
- Your digital house and neighborhoods
The city, houses, styles and neighborhoods in the app are conceptual representations of participation. They do not reserve land or a home, determine physical neighbors, or promise that a depicted design or location will be built. After committing and becoming a full member, you may optionally select or customize a digital house and create or join a neighborhood. You may leave a neighborhood without leaving CTM.
Neighborhood chats are not end-to-end encrypted. Neighborhood residents and Praxis administrators can read the full chat history, including messages posted before they joined. Leaving removes your access but does not erase messages or copies already held by others. Joining a neighborhood creates social connections and private-message access with its other members under the app's messaging and blocking rules. A connection created only by shared neighborhood membership ends when either person leaves; independent connections remain.
- Withdrawal, forfeiture and cancellation
You may withdraw through the campaign page or the Commitment to Move page in membership settings at any time. Withdrawal does not end your Praxis membership or prevent ordinary app access; you will not be required to rejoin CTM to continue using the app. Praxis may end your participation or cancel the program. Withdrawal, forfeiture or cancellation ends your commitment and removes your digital place and neighborhood access. Loss of full membership removes access to the digital place and neighborhoods as described above. If new commitments have closed, you cannot rejoin after withdrawing. A forfeited place cannot be reactivated by rejoining this campaign. Ending participation does not by itself create a payment obligation; any separate agreement for a future payment governs that payment.
Praxis may close new commitments without cancelling existing participation. Digital commitment counts and internal milestones do not guarantee a residential opportunity or trigger an obligation to move or pay.
- Updates and notices
Praxis will provide program updates and any deposit call by email to the address associated with your account and in the app. Keep your account email current. Updates provide new information; they do not silently amend the terms you accepted. Any additional agreement required for a future deposit or residential opportunity will be presented separately. - Personal participation
Your place is personal to you and cannot be sold, assigned or transferred. Praxis may assign its rights and obligations under these terms to a designee.
- Governing law
These terms are governed by New York law. Disputes concerning them are subject to the courts located in New York, New York.
- Electronic acceptance
By checking the agreement box and selecting Agree and continue or Agree and commit, you intend to accept these terms electronically. Your acceptance is associated with your authenticated Praxis account, the exact accepted terms, applicable deposit amount or status, terms version and time of acceptance. CTM consent is separate from consent to membership billing; it never authorizes a CTM deposit charge.
Next step
Your commitment is recorded while you apply or await membership. Priority consideration for residential opportunities begins only once you are a full Praxis member and remains subject to the participation terms. A digital house and optional neighborhoods become available only when you are a full member. Praxis will share updates by email and in the app, including any applicable future deposit requirements. No CTM payment is due when you join. You may withdraw from CTM without losing ordinary app access.
If cancelled
If Praxis cancels the program, your commitment ends and your digital place and neighborhood access are removed. Praxis will notify participants by email and post the cancellation in the app. Cancellation does not create a payment obligation under these terms. Any separate agreement for a future payment governs that payment.
