I purchased my pair of Bose QC in 2012 and use them for several hours each day. The hard case is flat and easy to pack in my back when riding with Jessica and the battery lasts ~30 hours. In 2015, they shorted somewhere and Bose replaced it under warranty, sending me a new pair without challenge and left me with an extra battery in the process. Prior to this noise canceling pair, I'd had the Bose Triport over-ear headphones which lasted for six years before being gifted away and replaced in favor of the flat-folding QC on-ear version which is more convenient for travel.
